Re: August's BPOM Contest
Beautiful pics veryone! I was trying to vote for #3 (I'm a sucker for a little kid snake pic) but miscounted and voted for #2. My screwup . . . . but I do like #2 also.
Re: August's BPOM Contest
i had to go with seven..............is that a yellow belly? either its a great shot!
Re: August's BPOM Contest
The child in # 3 is more beautiful than any BP could ever be. The parent of this child seriously needs to find a good photographer and put together a portfolio. The TV and modeling industry would absolutely LOVE to see this picture.:sunny:

Re: August's BPOM Contest
and number 6 takes the lead.
Re: August's BPOM Contest
WOW! it was such a hard decision, sooooo many amazing pics!!!
Re: August's BPOM Contest
Well, this was not an easy choice to make. I'd like to say because all the photos were so awesome but that is not the reason. Rather because the photo quality this time around seems to have gone downhill. :(
I did vote, but, it was not easy.
Just in case anyone wants to know, or cares, here's what I look for in a photograph:
Quality, how clear is the photo? Does it show good detail?
Light, how is the lightening in the photo? Is there a glare, is the photo washed out or is it too dark?
Positioning, is the intended focal point of the photo well positioned and in clear view?
Technical aspects in general, how good is the photographer's ability to take a "correct" photo?
Artistic qualities in general, how "cute" is the photo, how realistic is it, how natural is it, does it *look* natural or does it look forced (posed)?
and last but not least, how *original* is the photo? Can I find a million photos showing the same thing?
