I like most genres of music , but my favorite bands are
The Beatles , Jimi Hendrix , The Doors , The Travelling Willbury's , Bob Dylan , Muse , The White Stripes , Primus , Bob Marley , Slayer plus a hell of alot more lol
I also listen to hip hop not a lot but i love 2pac , NWA , Method Man and all the Wutang stuff i also like Didgeridoo music :rockon:

Eh.. I picked rock/alternative. I guess it mainly fits what i like. Some of it could be considered goth rock, some new wave; glam rock.. I don't know. My favorite bands atr Type O Negative, The Cure, etc. I am also a complete metal head and love Slayer, Anthrax, etc. But I also love Duran Duran, Morrissey and The Smiths.. you can't categorize me. :)
I dislike rap because it consistently degrades women, more than any other type of music that I can think of. Being female, hearing your sex referred to as something expletive and negative repetitively will shove you away from a certain genre. Like Morrissey said, it "says nothing to me about my life."
I have a strong love for classic/southern rock too. CCR; stuff likie them.. and the almighty Beatles and Niel Young of course.

well, i listen to a little of EVERYTHING on that list but i voted rap/hip hop because that's what i listen to slightly more than the others... but rock/alternative was a VERY close second!

My fav right now is my son Jamming to everything from soad to zeplin... He just started playing a year or 2 ago . But he is very good at it.. He never liked the (old) stuff until he started playing. Now he loves all kinds of stuff..

I love music. There are days where it has gotten me through the day without having a breakdown or killing myself. Some that I cannot do without for more than a week: Type O Negative, Morrissey, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Depeche Mode, Wolfshine. I love the Beatles, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney.. CCR.. hell, I have a diverse musical palate.

would anyone mind taking a listen to my music? its in my signature, I play every instrument and do all the vocals in the recordings, but im getting a few others involved lately and messing around with a slightly more aggressive sound (nothing heavy, just a little more guitar driven, as apposed to my piano driven sound..)..thanks.
