    Wow; sorry about that. :( I am allergic to antibiotics so I don't know what could be done for me if i needed them, but I would go get it checked out for sure.

    Officially, you should see a doctor if you suspect infection. My toe was drained of blood and infection last night when my mom lanced it open with a scalpel. Now the wound is bubbling up and oozing. Not good. I'm supposed to go to the doctor on Saturday, but already I can not walk on the toe again. Darn this crap hurts. Better yet, if you get an ingrown, go to the doctor. I didn't for two weeks and you should see my toe. I would post pics if I had my camera.

    The pain has diminished since last night but its still quite red. My mom told me to soak it in peroxide and we will go to the Doctor first thing in the morning tomorrow.

    I would suggest warm epsom salts to soak in. And go to the dr.:2cent:
