I have read through your post several times, keep coming back to it trying to think of something to say, but words escape me Amy. I hope everything works out and someone near you can offer her a fitting/loving home that way she's not TOO far away. :hug:

To bad you don't live here in Maryland. Cesar Millan is in town right now and is doing a show or something downtown very soon. I only know this because my local petsmart had a paper on the door with info about it.
