I am not going to engage in an argument or debate, nor will I share my opinion of Bob Pound. I will simply state that I have personally been using Repel Permanone for years. In my experience, it kills the mites and does not harm the snakes. To me, it is the best product available since Black Knight was taken off the market.

I saw Black Knight at the reptile show in Austin this past weekend. It's no longer illegal :) Says right on the can: To Treat Snake Mites...

Makes me want to get a can even though I don't have problems with mites(I've only used my can of PAM once).

I did not say it did not, I know many people using many different things to kill mites and to each their own, all I was saying is that it is not the same exact product as PAM that's all.

This is the most exciting news I have heard in a while! :)

I have never seen a product that kills bugs faster than Black Knight. I will have to try to find it again so I have it handy for the next time I see the little black annoyances! :carrot:

Well, if I see some at the next show, I'll buy ya a couple cans and ship them to you. I think they were $20 or something like that.

I have a can of Provent-a-mite that is reserved for use in my snakes' enclosures. I have a whole bunch of cans of Repel Permanone that I use in my rodent enclosures. I have had a hard battle with mites on my rats and mice. The Repel Permanone has won that battle for me. I don't know if it is exactly the same stuff as Provent-a-mite, but the active ingredients list is the same.
