Wow, thats beautiful, I love that iridescence. Looks like she's fairly slim too. Do they tend to stay that way or do they bulk up over time? What are they most closely related to and what are their basic care requirements?

They are fairly slim if you compare them to, say, burms. They are similar in proportion to retics I would say. I wouldn't hazard a guess as to their closest relative genetically. Probably closer to the Liasis genera than Python, but they are very much their own animal.

Thanks! I agree. I wish I had a dollar for everyone who has said that they prefer Olives to Papuans... before they see my Papuans in the flesh. ;)
