yeah it really sucks because I've never had assist any of my snakes and this poor little guys looks so bad, but I'm not gonna give up

Assist feeding is far less stressful than tube feeding. The chances of his snake being WC are very slim IMO because it is a pastel. Some CB snake eat like crap too. It may be a good idea to get a fecal test done but I really think your most important thing right now is to get some food into him. Just keep the meal smaller than you would usually give to a snake of his size and hope for the best. His stool was more than likely runny due to the tube feeding. From his description it sounds like his snake may be too far gone but assist feeding is his only chance at saving it IMO.

The other side of this is that it might have not been an established feeder prior to being shipped. so you may have gotten an animal that has never excepted a meal.
Get with the breeder!!!!!!! If you assist feed and it dies and then try to do anything the breeder can say that the animal was injured during an assist feeding and is in turn not his responsibility to replace.
but in the end its your snake and your decision.

I edited my first responce before I saw this post. I know it is possible that the snake is a CH but the chances are pretty slim. I agree that it probably never was an established feeder. From what the original poster said it sounds like the breeder is blowing him off and I doubt someone that would send of a snake in poor condition would be willing to help much. I just don't want to see this guys snake die because he is waiting on a breeder to respond. Many times after 1 or 2 assist feeds the snake will take off and eat on his own fine.

I have called the breeder and e-mailed over 20 times for a month and a half and no answer..in my opinion and experience with hatchlings, I don't believe that this snake had eaten at all even though the breeder said it was feeing on rat pups..there is no way!...I want to feel like I can help him and he'll make it

Well you have one option keep trying the tube feeding and see how it goes.

How much does the snake currently weigh? What have you been tube feeding him? If he is losing much weight even with the tube feeding I really think you should try to assist feed a very small meal. Sometimes just one assist feed can get them started and they will eat fine for you after that. But it is your choice, good luck.
