Are you absolutely sure this isn't related to either the beginnings of a burnt belly or belly rot from damp substrate? What indications are there that this is stuck shed? Are you actually seeing the remnants of shed coming up his sides? Hopefully a clear picture will help us to help you. For now, I'd suggest you remove this substrate and replace it with multiple layers of plain white paper towels (Viva brand makes a pure white almost cloth soft paper towel that I just love).

He was on a dry cloth when i first noticed it. And now is on carefresh bedding which also is still dry. [I check every few hours to make sure water hasnt been spilt.] Does anyone have a picture of a snake burn? I'm pretty sure this isnt what it is because i looks like theres a layer of skin that needs to come off.

i was going to say.. ididnt see anything by those pictures. try to use natural light and a close setting on the camera so it shows detail, those shots dont show us much unfortunetly.. but from what i do see looks like a nice little baby, i like the bands *he* has

    Hi,

I like the nice busy pattern he has half way down - lots of lovely 8's.:)

Cool on getting new photo's and I agree with AshleyB on natural light being a good idea. Should make it easier to get a true colour representation too.

There are some burn pictures on the forum but they tend to be the later stages once the skin has started to slough off so I'm not sure it would be all that diagnostic just now.

One good pic of the affected area should give folks a fair idea - mind you I generally have to take about 60 shots to get one good one even on my best day.
