I've heard from numerous individuals who keep having the red "x" problem with IE6. Try the following...if it does not work, then I suggest downloading IE7 or better yet, Firefox! :carrot:

1.) Clear temporary Internet files. To clear temporary Internet files, follow these steps:
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet files.
    c. Select the Delete all offline content check box, and then click OK.
    d. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.

2.) Verify that Show Pictures has not been turned off in Internet Explorer:
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. Click the Advanced tab, and then verify that the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia.
    c. Click OK.

3.) Make sure scripting, ActiveX controls, cookies, and Java applets are enabled in Internet Explorer. To do so, follow these steps:
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. Click the Security tab, and then click Default Level (if it is available) for the zone which contains the Web page (for example, Internet).
    c. If you are using Internet Explorer 6, click the Privacy tab, and then click Default (if it is available).

I did everything :( I just think that my mom's computer has seen its better days. She has an awesome cable connection and it should not be this slow nor inadequate.

Beh.. I DLed 7.0 and it is still like this. My mom's computer is about 8 years old though.. I miss my machine home. It is funny how you can get attached to a darned computer and miss it when you are not home. lol.
But then again, my computer had No sounds yesterday. I tried all the settings.. nothing was out of place. I restarted 2x.. no dice. I guess that I am a walking computer virus, lol.

    lol!
I think that it is the other way around though. This computer, by not letting me see the images, is killin' me!

I've mentioned this before but sometimes people try and clear their temp files and cookies WHILE on the site and this may not fix the problem. Its best to have IE closed completely...better yet to go and manually delete all the files!

The "best" option of course is Iceman's other suggestion ;)
