Re: What do you think prices will be like in a few years?
There are certain morphs that I would not even look at a year ago because of their higher prices then. Now, they have lowered; take the pinstripe, fo example. Last year, I would never go out and spend $1500-$1800 on one; it was out of my logical budget. But now, they are areound $900.. a much more manageable amount for me, and so the morph becomes a possibility of something I could buy.. Now, if I bought one, would I be afraid that the prices in a few years, once I could get offspring out of it hypothetically, would be so low that I'd lose money on the original snake in selling its babies? No. I would have bought that particular animal because it screamed at me, it caught my eye and i could not live without it. Thus, I do not treat BPs as I would a money-making venture.. they are a hobby for me but also, if i can breed some babies and spread the "disease" ;) of BP addiction to others; so be it!
So, even if a morph's price lowers; there will be people out there who would buy it regardless.
Eh, I am not in it for the money anyways. I did it thus far for the experience, and to produce some hot babies that I know someone will get enjoyment out of. I love keeping these snakes to begin with and am prepared to keep all of the babies if some fluke reason or other makes them unsellable.

I agree with Jen if you love it you buy it, I'd rather price's stabilize but it is what it is when I first got ino the game I thought ok I'll make all the money I've put in back, but now all I think about is producing some bad arse bp's. Don't misundertsand me I will make it back but I don't think about that anymore.
