Re: City girl get used to country livin
The longer I live in the city, the more I hate it!!! I grew up at the beach, living pretty much in the woods... Now my front 'lawn' is a parking lot... lol I'm jealous of your scenery :)
Re: City girl get used to country livin
Heh, I'm pretty much just the opposite. I grew up in the woods, and there just aren't words to express how much I love Dallas. If I get my way, I'll never leave.

Tyree, we found the frog IN the pool. Poor thing couldn't get out and his 'friend' didn't make it.
Jo, I haven't seen a single car on blocks in our neighborhood. So, I've got time to blend in that way. Although, apparently everyone lets their dogs loose but I'm not going there. There are two labs that almost get hit because they chase after cars. GRRR!
Sarah, I've always been fascinated with them too. I absolutely seeing them, and I even whistle back to them occassionally.
Judy, thanks for the kind words. It's a dream house.

i like the peace and quiet too! we not too far out, about 1/2 hr. from richmond,va. and 5 miles off the interstate. kind of halfway between the sticks and the burbs.
