Well I have 26 bins of rats, mice and ASF and use Equine Fresh (same as Woody Pet - a compressed pine pellet) and I can go for 2 weeks with ZERO smell. You use only enough to cover the bottom of the bin. And yes, I tested this 2 week claim as I just got back after 2 weeks of vacation and you couldn't tell I had been gone.
I have tried pine, multiple varitities of aspen, carefresh (yuck), and even stuff you put under bedding (cat litter, stall dry, etc) and nothing works as easily or well as compressed pine pellets.
