I got a shirt story for ya
I hate shopping with my wife due to the fact it is an all day event. She never asks me to go now. Why? One day she nagged me to go shopping. We get to the mall, I take off my jacket and suprise I have on my favorite shirt that says "I'd rather be mas**r***ting" and that's how I get out of shopping with the wife. (hopefully the mods will find humor in this story and it won't get deleted.)

Well I've gotten over the shocked looks Mike generally gets from the greeters at WalMart but geesh funny how the pastor of that church has yet to call and invite us to attend services there.

This isn't about Adam's shirts but another shirt that got me into trouble. When I was in high school I played the clarinet in the marching band and in concert band (top level within my first year thank you very much, :P ) Anyway, each section of instruments designed their own shirts to wear during practices and around school to get morale up and whatnot. Well, the clarinet is a woodwind instrument, so we all decided that our shirts would read "Got wood?" on the front and then have the entire section's names listed on the back. haha, after the band director saw them she outlawed them but we always wore them anyway. -lol- My dad didnt want me to get one. I wasnt allowed to wear it around him. I think the trumpets or the trombones (one of them) designed shirts that said "kick brass" -lol- :D

Ah, I'm a band nerd. Good times, good times.

Forgetting the "unclothed" mannequins are everywhere. Started pulling snakes out and turn to see our friend staring at one with handcuffs on. I forgot all about them since they have been there for years!

Boy, was I wishing for a couple t-shirts then. The boy wasn't phased, but I was informed after he visited that all snake viewings would take place downstairs in the future!:bolt:

You've got me cryin' with laughter here!

Reminds ms of Mark wearing his concrete-encrusted pants and shirt to my grandmother's birthday.. she asked me later if we needed money for clothing..

Hey my ex-mother-in-law was such a strict Baptist I used to have to race around the house before she visited and dress all my daughter's naked barbie dolls. You think I'm kidding? I wish I was!

P.S. She also belived that police officers and "men of the cloth" didn't drink alcohol because "they aren't allowed to!" Being an ex police dispatcher I nearly choked to death holding back the laughter.

Oh good gracious Jo! I've got tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! That's an AWESOME story! (of course I can say that cause it wasn't my husband :giggle: )

Of course, we're trying to find a new church ourselves. Apparently, it's going to be a bit different down here in the bible belt. My husband has already gotten the response "We're christian, so of course we don't drink" (huh? where's the correlation?) I'm thinking things are gonna be a bit different here in the bible belt. *sigh*

Hrrrrm *clears throat* we females are NOT "naggy"....we simply have strong opinions that need voiced! :P

Now the proper response to "a strong opinion that needs voiced" is to nod, smile and say "yes dear, of course dear, absolutely stunningly good idea dear". You may then of course go off and do whatever you really wanted to do in the first place. We really aren't all that interested in you actually listening as long as you APPEAR to be listening and agreeing with us fully. Just a lil hint there sweetie. It'll make your life so much easier in the long run. :D
