    Wow, thats hard to believe (but of course I do)... Hamsters-ferrets-chinchillas-sugar gliders-newts-they have everything listed but simple dogs and cats!!!

    South Carolina is trying to amend the current exotic pet law. They want to add a mandatory permit for exotics pets. Also attached to the bill is a misdemeaner infraction for first time offenders, and felony for a second offense. I believe currently they dont have exotic pet permit requirements.

    I agree... $10.00 to stay in line with the law is not that terrible... Besides, its $10 for the permit, not for each animal....
