    Not warm...tepid...snakes feel heat differently than we do. Not soapy water...a drop of plain dishsoap in the water...not enough to make bubbles. Bleach may kill an adult mite but it won't stop the eggs from hatching. Mites have about a 30 day life cycle so without dealing with the eggs...you'll be saying hello to baby mites next month.

    Incidentally, I did not write that up but rather reposted it courtesy of Bob Pound at Pro Products (the makers of Provent A Mite).

    While you might have bleached and baked and will use the drop of dish soap method, like Joanna said, you won't have done a thing to kill the eggs. These methods should just be used as a temporary fix while you wait for the PAM to be delivered.
