No. Using the Provent-a-Mite as directed will erradicate the adult mites, their eggs, and the larvae completely, often times with a single treatment.

So nothing special i have to do for her right? The ones on her should die once placed back?

Its a certainty :)

Just make sure to remember to remove the water bowl and let the enclosure dry completely before placing the snake back in it. Be sure the cage is in a well ventilated area when you treat it. Also per the directions, remove any feeder insects and cover any fish tanks, should you have them in the area you are treating.

Keep in mind too, be conservative with how much you are using...it really doesn't take much. The idea here is to blast the enclosure with it, but not to the point that it is wet to the touch.

I'd stay away from misting and watch for water bowl spills while the enclosure is being treated. I'm not sure if there's been any reporting on what happens if a treated area gets wet again after it dries, but just the thought of it makes me a little nervous.

She's starting to shed now. will that play any part in it? Do i feed her during?
