There are also pied mussarana's. Their base color is purplish black so the white of the pied shows pretty well. Sorry. don't have a picture handy.

Not only that but the pied term comes from horses and cows. So the term has been around for a long time

Pied ball pythons are very nice and on my wishlist, but I'd like to see what other kinds of snakes can carry this trait. I would love to find a corn snake with this. That would an absolute dream seeing as corns are my favorite and pied is my favorite morph.

As far as corns go, it's only been observed in bloodreds so far and it isn't nearly as pronounced as it is with ball pythons.

I saw the pied burm (or was it a retic???) at the FIRE show last weekend. it's not as dramatic as in ball pythons...it was just some white coming up on the sides, no complete sections of white scales....

I thought the sections of white were quite pronounced on the retic. There just wasn't much of the white patches. Someone here posted one picture of it that showed the white patches some. When I was there it was rolled up too tight to see the white, and I don't want any giants, so I didn't hover.
I think pied corns would look seriously hot too.
