Re: New With Rack Questions
I own 3 different kinds of racks, Freedom breeder, Animal Plastics and Vision. The Vision can used many different way. Here is a post I made on them a while back http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=45148
I am very happy with mine. I will probably get another one next year as the collection and hatchlings keep growing. How many racks can go from CB-70's to 32 quart to juvy tubs to hatchling tubs all in the same rack?

First off, its Orange... :)
Its a Home Depot bucket. I use it when I am cleaning to empty the water bowls into. Helps me clean more quickly.

Re: New With Rack Questions
Well now I'm excited. All this positive feedback! First order of business is to build up some breeding stock. Hopefully towards the end of summer I'll have enough motivation and need to finally order one.
Let's talk thermostats. I'm leaning toward a single Ranco unit for $75 from RBI.

In my opinion, if you plan on doing it right, spend some extra and get a proportional thermostat. Rich doesn't sell Herpstats. You can get a Helix for like 60 bucks more or a Herpstat directly from www.spyderrobotics.com for like $110.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a proportioned thermostat is the way to go. Anything else I need to know? Seems like everything but the most minute of details has been sorted out.
