    I didn't realize there were 4 units still available. The only ones you typically see for sale are the 1000 and 1000G (the all in one units that are a closer match to the Herpstats).

    the helix im looking at is the The Helix DBS-1000. I guess since HElixs ahve been around for a while, people know theyr e good so why change. But, on the other hand Herpstat is greattoo, just newer so people dont have as many.


    I think Ill go with Herpstat. Save a little money and it is still a great product. I dont need anything fancy, just something for the incubator. And Adam, that calling feature is very cool, Im going to look into that...

    I have no experience with anything but Helix. (Well, I have had bad experiences with Hovabator wafer t-stats..)
    This Helix is stunningly great. My room temps have gradually varied from 65 to 75 in the past few weeks, and that Helix keeps things spot-on. Like I said before; if I were a thermostat, I'd marry it!
