    They were in my walk in closet, nice and dark, no noise. They were in there for a month or 2.

    I gave up on mice, i've got rats in there now with one about to pop in a week or so

    I have been fortunate I guess.

    I house 2 females together and have the male run through the tubs (dark kitty litter pan). During the first pregnancy the females are house alone.

    Never had any cannibalism issue whether housed alone or together.

    Also most of my colony is second generation that I have raised myself and interacted with since birth, I originally started with 1.2 from a pet store and they are a little more aggressive and skittish compare to the others.
