Well, it's not a pet store, just a place where I keep my snakes ... I know I confuse everyone like that when I say "shop" ... the "attack" stuff really is isolated to a couple of rare occasions, but the footage of the crew goofing off would be priceless ... Maybe I could get Johnny Light to make a cameo. :D

I hate to correct but its Bobby Light. If you could get him to make an appearance, I will do Uncle Jerry's part...

First, Adam - it's so great having you back partcipating!

Secondly, somewhat feed related - here's my mis-hap, happened in the last hour.

I'm separating out weanlings, males and females, and I have the tub on the second shelf scooted out a bit (should have just set it on the floor) and it tips over, spilling all the weanlings and mom onto the floor. I'm home alone and going "no, no, no, no, no!!! Everyone FREEZE!!!"

Karl calls a little later, and can hear I'm flustered and goes "What's wrong?" I tell him and then say "I think I've got everyone". Dead silence on the other end of the phone - then "what do you MEAN you THINK you've got everyone? Don't you know how many were in there?" I was like - "well, I can't remember how many I fed off last week from this litter...!!!!"

I do think I've got them all, but keeping a sharp eye on the area where they scattered and on the dog and the cat! LOL

First off, I too am glad to see Adam back and doing his thing. Things weren't the same without him.

I am definitely going to have some escaped rats soon. 10 months with no escapes or problems and now 4 chewed through tubs in the last week. I think they need a hobby to keep them busy.

    Great story!!!

    Adam ... the eyelid?? Owwwwwww!!!!

My only real comical incidents always have to do with trying to catch escaped rats. Cut finger and stitches, rat jumped out of a high tub onto my head, etc...

I did have a funny one yesterday, trying to feed hatchlings. New lesson, you don't pick up planter saucer type hides by sticking you finger through the hole in the top. I thought the girl was under her other hide, oops. The neighbor kids were watching and jumped more than I did.

OK - so I didn't get them all - I pulled out all the stuff under the table and one listened to my command to FREEZE! and was frozen against the wall! Got her! LOL
