    Mine topped around 7.5 ft before I sold it to concentrate on BP. As Jimi mentioned, boas are ready to explore whenever they are out of their enclosures. As for feeding, I feed 20 snakes a week and none of them come out of their enclosures at that time. Feeding in their enclosure is not as bad as you may think. When I had my boa, I handled it at most once or twice a week and that was only during cleaning and water changes and I had no aggression issues whatsoever. As long as you don't throw your snake in a closet never to be seen for months, you are fine IMO.

    Anyone that moves a hungry boa is braver than I am LOL. We feed in their home enclosures. :)

    i agree 100%! yesterday my RTB BCI shed. it came off in 1 piece which made me happy and proud. then i changed water, cleaned subtrate, and then at night she pooped and urated in her water tub. today i picked her up and held her for a little and it seriously took me about 5 minutes fighting with her to get her back in her tank..
