so it's finished. finally. the temps regulated really well so she moved in earlier this evening. i'm going away for a few days so that'll give her time to adjust. but onto the pics!

i put the basking shelf in just for the heck of it. she loves to cruise at night so i figured why not? it's something else to climb on.

this was what she was living in before this tank. it's about a third of the size of the new one.

ahhh, that's what i was looking for! heat and a dark space!

i feel loads better that she's in a nice new tank that she'll be able to live in for the rest of her life. she's got all the room she'll need and shouldn't be cramped ever again.

thanks animal plastics! the customer service was awesome. they got back to me right away when i had questions and they were dead on with the shipping date. you guys rock!

so that's it. that's the new tank. it's pretty awesome. i'll definately be ordering again from these guys!

The cage looks great, I am about to order my third T-10 for my King and wondering about the basking shelf option, how does it mount inside?

there's little slots in the back (4 to be exact) and you just get someone to hold the supports in the slots and then screw them in. she seems to be enjoying it so i'm glad i put it in.

Very nice set up you have there and even more room for your baby than I've given Monty - I feel guilty now :)
I keep thinking about trying a naturalistic looking substrate but newspaper is just so easy to deal with. Will definitely try and get a nice piece of driftwood like you have put in there, it should also help with shedding.
    Congrats!
