I just skip the feed during a shed and skip to the next week. My BP always lays around looking as pathetic as possible for the entire procedure - I can't bear to try it. I've always heard that they can skip a feed no problem so I figure its best to let it slide.

i try to handle him as much as i can when im not busy and at home maybe 3 times a week.
so i waited to feed him again and he wouldnt eat.
but i noticed he is about to shed now so i figure ill try again when he is done with that.

I feed all of mine in shed or not. Most times, they eat in shed.

What do you use to measure your temps? Stick on dials, or a digital thermometer/hygrometer?

Also do you have two tight-fitting hides? If the BP doesn't feel sevure, it'll be stressed out and can lead to off-feed.

Unless ita a unusual problem if a ball is eating regularly and skips a few meals its nothing to worry about. balls can just sometimes be picky.
I have a few breeders that only eat for 4-5 months per year. (males) But they are perfectly healthy animals just when the females smell good to them ... No feeding they have nothing else on their mind but getting with the girls.
Long story short if your ball is not feeding but it has for you if your husbindry is good. And the snake is healthy. relax. They'll eat when they are ready.
