    I would wait. it is my opinion that in breeding any animal, one needs to be 100% prepared to keep any and all offspring for their entire lives if they do not sell. Otherwise I see no point.. :) If it gets into a "must sell" situation, the animals are more likely to go for lower prices and into subpar homes. It is amazing how the asking-price you can get for an animal goes up once it is established more and has more growth on it!
    I would get all breeding items together before breeding, also. This is one thing that I really didn't do, though I thought I did. I had a hovabator-type incubator, and I thought "OK, I can use this.." It spiked and killed this year's first clutch of mine a few months back.
    So before my last two clutches were laid, I had to scramble. I put together an incubator out of a styrofoam cooler, some Flexwatt, soda bottles and a great Helix proportional thermostat that is working great.
    I hope that it does not sound like I am discouraging you; just giving a little advice based on my experiences.
