thanks, my lighting actually failed... :( I bought a type of bulb that I thought would work really well with this, and it was disappointing to say the least... so for these, I just had to resort back to the camera flash... so using that, they came out better than I expected them too... :D

Mike, where did your borneo come from?

Ok, I've seen people take pictures and their snakes are either on a completely white, or black, background .... but it looks so good it doesn't look like they are on anything.... how did you do that? - never mind, just found an FAQ at the top of this forum page...didn't see that at first.

Mine came from Earth's Exotics, and I know there's still some question to the genetics of granites/marbles, but he's a het, although I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to try to prove him out...

The setup (melamine) for these photos cost me about $10, so it's not too hard... :D

My understanding is that the granite is a recessive trait whereas the marble is a dom/co-dom.
We shall see. I have a clutch from a male I bought as a marble to a normal female. The clutch is due to pip any day now.

That's my understanding as well, but I've been reading some stuff lately that suggests it could be more complicated than that... but I don't know, I'm honestly not that involved in the blood/short-tail industry... do you have any pics of your marble?
