I plan on breeding and producing pastels/super pastels/ spiders and some Bee's in the next 2-3 years. I think that it would be fun to try to 'bust out' into the big time breeding, but it would be a blast just seeing babies of the animals that I admire and respect. If I have to keep them all, that's just fine with me ^^ I'll start my own personal zoo with them, lol. I also have a lot of friends who are interested in getting some of the babies that I will eventually produce, and I will be starting a website as well as putting ad's in the paper when the time comes.

If I also hope to use morphs I have produced in trade for other morphs to improve my collection and diversify the bloodlines.

I'm up for trading some of my morphs with you in the future! Can't pass up a chance to help out a fellow Okie! lol

I think for Mike and I it will always just be about our love and fascination for the snakes and whatever we breed to either sell or trade with our friends for other morphs or hets, well that's just a very nice side benefit. We really enjoy the snake collection as a family, love watching our kids learn about life and nature through snake ownership and doing a bit of rescuing/public education.

Might be nice down the road to sell a morph and put the money into a family vacation or whatever, but I don't see us as big timers in this business. Just hobbyists with a passion to own and produce some quality snakes at some point. :)

Right now it's more about building a nice collection, enjoying watching our friends walking this same road, dreaming with them about someday trading some of their babies with ours, that sort of good stuff. As far as what we'll do with any normals produced, it's our committment to keep any snake hatched here until a proper home is found for it. Whether that takes 6 weeks or 6 months, that's fine with us. We won't be producing on a large scale and already have folks interested in babies that we haven't even produced yet. Just a matter of a few extra rat litters and we'll feed and care for whatever we've chosen to bring into this world.
