Thank you for sharing. I would have never known about such a wonderful snake. I wanted a boa, but I live in an appartment and really could not support a large snake.
That is why I have a male BP. :sunny:

hey, there are several dowarf boa constrictors in this planet, which is called Tarahimaran desert boa, Sonolan desert boa etc..
Crawl cay is one of them.
They also stop growing around 4-6ft.

You can keep them in 32X17.7X17.7inch enclosure and can hold it on your one hand. Very nice animals! :)

yeah, he is stunning! I like the light pink colour on the dull body pattern very much.
Don`t be surprised! he is three years old and still only 2.3ft long!!!

Crawl Cay boa range in only Crawl cay island. A very tiny island in Beliez next to Mexico. Only 12 boa have been taken from there and bred. My boa is one of the descendant. Now the boas in the island are protected.
He got "Cross" on its head! Just stunning!

Awesome. Not many people breed them here either actually. Only a handful that I can think of. Awesome boa for sure. I was thinking about picking up a few of the cay boas before they are all mutted out. Just curious, how is the boa market for morphs over there. I'm guessing they have everything we have?

Just a quick correction. Its Sonoran Desert Boa and its Tarahumara boa as well. There are so many "dwarf" boas out there on top of the main ones you mentioned.

    Cancun Boas
    Hog Island
Corn Island or Isla De Maize(sp?)
    Caulker Cay
    Crawl Cays
    Various Nicaragua and Honduran Boas
Pearl Island boas are also smaller than quite a few other B.c.i.
