One may say that The Treasury note with the likeness of Ben Franklin on it is an emarld jewel, maybe that is what hes trying to prove out, or better yet pry out of your wallet.

Man, I just read a thread somewhere about these and to me - they look like normals to me - now I'm on a mission to find that thread! :(

Re: emerald jewels?
So far, the only thing I can find is this ad where the seller was asked if these were proven, to which he states no - but they're convinced they will prove out. Not the discussion I'm thinking about, however.
Here's the link I was thinking about. I don't know who this guy is, or what his reputation is, but he does seem to like to "hype" his stock. The first snake posted in this ad, he was selling as a hypo when he first put this ad up.
hello this is tim..owner of providencereptiles..i appologize for any mis-understandings about these animals..i beleive thomas mis-understood me about the (emerald jewel) we have not proved them out or anything like that..was simply a name we gave to a group of animals we got this year..we got enough of them from our hatchery in africa and set them aside..obviously we should not have given them a name as this has caused drama on 2 different boards..this was not our intent..we gave it the name emerald jewel based on the side pattern and belly..they have a emerald green sides (emerald jewels)..i have tried to capture this on camera but have not been greatly lucky in it..everyone who sees them in person loves them so therefore i put them on the front page.....
my web-site is being updated regularly..some asked why no pics of the cinnies etc we havent had time nor have babies hatched out this year and i have so many other things to do right now..im trying to set up new location etc so i havent been able to get everything up there..since im selling babies right now so im posting thier pics first..also working with my green trees so they have been getting my attention
again i will have to go back and correct the page on my web -site..was not intended to deceive anyone..therefore the price on these animals is low $150-175...
we dont know what this animal will do..it does seem to be genetic but we do not promise that..it may only be a locale thing and you would have to line breed to keep it therefore we have kept the pricevery low in comparison to other COMMON fancies being sold right now..
as far as the quote about other un-proven morphs was not related to these..sorry if this was conceived that way...
i am working with 3 different lines of blurries..melonistic females..burgandy albino and several others..that is what was ment by un-proven morphs..again i appologize for any mis-confusion..i posted the pic that thomas bought accidentally and i honered the price he paid for a normal looking common..i thought i had explained it more carefully on the phone
if anyone has more questions feel free to contact me on my phone
863-651-7799
or email me at providencereptiles@yahoo.com
again sorry for the confusion
thanks tim

Re: emerald jewels?
hey guys, i think i need to apologize to an extent. im fairly new to this and now see that the word "morph" shouldnt be used so readily. tim @ providence reptiles is getting alot of heat about these emerald jewel snakes that i went and called "morphs" when i shouldnt have. they are just different looking snakes that he named because of their color. i hope to post pics of them on tuesday when i receive them and we can get this all cleared up
