Try Bolton Veterinary Clinic in Bolton (i know its a hike for ya) but it might be worth it. I had a female exotics vet look at my snake (she was good) i can't remember her name, but Rusty Reptiles also uses them for all of their rescued herps. I think there are a bunch down near the shore/fairfield county area.

South Wilton Vetinary Hospital agreed to see him today as an emergency visit.

They are down on Danbury Road. I've heard good things about them but have never been there.

    Got a 2pm appointment.

$115 later to find out there is nothing the vet can do. It is doubtfull that the snake would survive surgery to remove it and there is no way it can pass at the size it is.

I did find out that oddball is actually a girl. I had just assumed he was a boy. Probed today and turns out to be female.

I am left with 3 options now.

    1. Try the surgery at 3:20 tomorrow for a cost of $820 with about a 20% chance she lives thru it and is able to survive long term even if is successfully removed.

    2. Put her down.

    3. Try what Davey Fig suggested and do the saline injections with the tubing of the mineral oil to soften and attempt to get the snake to pass it.

I think I am going to go with option number 3.
