The sad part is most people hear or read "snake" and that is all it takes.

We must work to keep future generations from having this fear or attitude. I find local show-n-tells at schools, cub scout events, etc.. are a great way to reach kids and parents. I have seen many people change their minds about snakes, or reptiles in general.

There will always be some who don't like snakes, but we can all work to avoid this if we all put in a bit of effort. ;)

Totally agree! What do these people think???? That this guy is going to get a kick out of letting out his snakes and rats to "scare" them more. I would say this guy takes better care of his snakes and rats than the people around him take care of their animals. I wish him the best of Luck!!!!

I don't understand why they weren't told it was going to be an issue when they took out permits to start construction of the facility. It really is a load of crap; I think I would be a little more understanding if they were 1500 retics but then again when the general population asks questions like are they slimy what can you really expect. Its a shame, and I hope the find a suitable solution if they appeal.
