my snake maximus always stops dead whenever my boyfriend comes into the room, or anyone he doesnt know. Which is strange cuz he is handles mostly by my BF. He looks like he's staring at the wall. We just say he's "playing dead". It's very common for him to just sit and ignore everything around him when he does this unless we have a rat, he's a pig :)
