    That's a sensitive topic. In this forum, a lot of people feed live food safely and haven't had any issues. On other boards, which I won't name, if you post a pic of a live feeding, you'll be crucified on the spot.

    oh, sorry but it was a joke. I did fresh killed mouse feeding. the thing on the snake is actually pee. The snake constricted it and the thing come off from the mouse a bit.
    I always feed fresh mice or frozen mice to my snakes.
    I use more frozen mice than fresh killed mice :) .

    Welcome! That is a beautiful snake that you have. Like you, I made some mistakes as a kid keeping herps.. all we can do is move on and do right, now. :)
