Re: Rubbing the nose on the food?
I dont think hes in shed cycle but i could be wrong. This is my first snake so I could easily be wrong. I was checking his eyes and skin when i had him out earlier and i didnt think his eyes looked a milky blue or anything. Problem with him not eating is I now have a live mouse with nothing to keep him in but the brown paper bag they gave me and hes makin a buncha noise in that thing. I put the bag in a pillow case in case he found his way outa the bag that has 3 staples in it. But wat am i going to do with a live mouse if he doesnt eat it tomorow night? That mouse is already gettin on my nerves.

If you go to PetsMart/ PetCo they usually have little "Critter Keepers" which you could put him in. Those cost a little under $10. You really don't need a big one for just one mouse. You might want to buy one of those hampster water bottles also to keep the mouse hydrated. When my BP's skip a feed I usually give the mouse carrots and bread (before I went and bought lab blocks).

Im going to stop handling him until he eats. Every day i take him out to handle him he spends time coming out of his hide trying to climb onto the roof of the tank as seen in some pictures ive posted in a couple other threads. I guess the only positive i can take from this is the fact that i know it will take A LOT for him to try and bite me if he wont even bite the damn mouse.

First, if the mouse can get in the hide with your snake, your hide is too large. There should be "just" enough room for him and nothing else.

If I remember correctly, you've not had this guy very long and you're handling him every day.

When you bring home a new snake, you should not handle at all for a week, and even better, until after their first successful feed with you.

If your husbandry is off (not proper temp gradient), you're overhandling, his enclosure is too large, and hides too large, he's not going to be likely to feed.

Fix your husbandry, stop handling and he should eat for you. Don't offer him food for at least a week after you've made all your husbandry corrections.

You should always have something to keep your live prey in if refused. You do not offer again for another week to your snake, or you will continue to stress him out.

I'd suggest returning it to the pet store for credit tomorrow.
