    ya I was trying to think of something last night that i could put in there to prevent him from doing that but i couldnt come up with anything. He continues to want to climb up there and his only way down is to fall. Ill try some newspaper I guess.

    How are you measuring those temps? If its a sticky therm or a dial one that sticks on the side of the cage, they are crap. Try to pick up a digital thermometer with a probe. Please make sure your substrate heater is regulated by something. Those things can get over 120 degrees.

    im using a Flukers digital thermo-hygrometer thats supposed to stick on but i am not using the stick on i just placed it directly on the substrate to try to get a better reading on what the temperature is he is feeling.
