How big do they get then? I have read between 4.5' and 9' so I'm thinking someone is getting the sizes confused with black heads. What size tubs are best for them(Kara said Cb-70s but wanted other opinions). Are they very active? I'm guessing feeding will be a lot like bci as for keeping them at a healthy weight(or do they not get obese easily).

I feed ours small to medium sized rats, my male is fed twice a month and still goes into a frequent shed and maintains his body weight in proportion to his length.

He is 5 ft at the absolute most, females 6 ft plus, but they are not a big snake like blackheads can get. They are an active snake. Ours are in 41 qrt long containers.

I have seen them as large as about 7'. This was an older female. There are several regional variants which account for the varying reports in size and color. For example, womas from Western Australia and the Northern Territory tend to have an average length of 4 to 5 feet. These are cream colored with reddish to brown banding.

Woma variants from Queensland also rarely seem to exceed 5 feet and have an orangish head with taupe patterning and a blackish mask.

Variants from the southwest, seem to be the largest, reaching reported lengths of 9 feet. The one representative specimen I saw was an olive color.

These size variations are probably due in the wild to the prey available in each region. It would be interesting to see how the different reported morphs would respond on the same diet.
