Im so sorry about the lost. This can be an example to all of us and a reminder to keep them cages on lock down. Hope this doesnt stopp you from getting a new Bp in the future.

I'm so sorry RuLyn :( . Lost snake stories always break my heart, and this one especially. Don't kick yourself for not looking in the stove though, there are are just too many places a loose snake can get into to check them all.

I'm so sorry this happened Ru. Having lost a snake ourselves, I know how disheartening and sad it is.

    Thx Judy.

I almost didn't post, but I knew that if someone else lost a snake in the back and among the wiring that same way, and I could have maybe clued them in where to look and didn't, then I wouldn't be helping the hobby! :colbert: :( (*kicking myself* I should have taken a couple pics to post, so others would know where to look.......) :sigh2: Ohhhh well.

Crisstyle21, Evan, Jo, Everyone.....Thanks for the hugs, warm vibes and comforting words!! I just feel sooooooooooo inept right now. Like horses and getting bucked off, I know, deep down, that as long as I keep snakes, accidents like this will happen. But DAM* it!!!! I had SIX big clips on that underbed box!!!!! And he popped off every one of them.

At least now, that kind of escape can't happen from THAT box again.....I've moved HERA, my big chunker of an adult female RTB into it, and strapped it with two short bungee cords. IF and when I ever get another Super Dwarf retic to replace Kaa, then he'll go in one of the other tubs in the rack or in a cage that I've gotten from some place like Vision or AP.
