okay greaT ones so far guys,

this is the only one i have ever written and that was in 6th grade!

    My room is very messy,
    My room is not clean,
With clothes on my dresser and clothes on my feet,
My closet door won't close because all my pets homes lay there.

Now my room is very clean,
No more clothes on my dresser and none by my feet,
My closet door closes with my pets homes all stowed away,
But tomorrow, tomorrow is another day!

that one got me published in the news letter thats sent home to the moms:D
    hope ya laughed or smiled

Very good! I have a few around that I'll have to find... I read one the other day called "To the Little Polish Boy Standing With His Arms Up" that was very good but very, very sad. I just loved the word repetition that gradually gained momentum. The ending is very touchingly sad. I love the way the lines are arranged, some words are alone, which IMO adds impact. Here's a link.
