    that one post about putting paper on the uth, sounds like your setting yourself up for a housefire, paper+electricity =bad mmmkay?

    I have an issue with those heaters! I used one years ago, on a rheostat. What happened is, somehow the plastic melted, exposed some of the heating element, and I got Zapped when I touched it.. and it was regulated on a rheostat at the right temperature. Scary stuff; I do not think that they are as thick (plastic) as FWatt nor as durable.
