Re: Bp Investment....what To Choose
I think the double co-dom spider morphs will decline. Spider x recessive is the future :)

You'll see bumblebees hold and lesser bees and so one because you have the same chance of producing them as a Recessive morph 25%

Obviously, but some faster than others. As people are breeding co-dom males to multiple females, you have the chance of producing dozens of new ones every year easily. Spiders will shoot up in numbers but the demand will stay around the same.

Re: Bp Investment....what To Choose
This has helped quite a lot but what happens if I like them all........
Albinos are really popular here so it would make sense to buy them but to tell you the truth the potential morphs dont really appeal to me.
While spiders do for example.
Has anyone ever done a chart of what you can get from different morphs

Re: Bp Investment....what To Choose
One thing you might want to think about when buying normal females is not to buy average run of the mill normals. Go to shows and pick out your own, or keep an eye out for people selling 'special hand picked' females. You'll pay a little more, but better looking females make better looking babies. I think that selective breeding rather then just producing as many morphs as possible will play a much bigger role in the future of this hobby.

Re: Bp Investment....what To Choose
Well my list has stabilized somewhat.
I have
2.2 Normals at the moment
With breeding season starting in two weeks I need something that might be able to breed with my breedable female. Do you think it would be a good ifea to pay twice the normal price of a pastel male just so that I can breed this season or go with the pair I featured in this thread(http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=44451). The male in that thread is great looking(nice blushing!)
I am going to purchase:
Male albino
Het albino female
Pastel Female
Pastel Male (breedable or other?)
Axanthic Female
Jan 2008:
Spider Male
het axanthic male
Mojave Female
Hypo Female or Male?
What you think? Do you think I should swap the sexes around anywhere?
