The roof is about 1/3 finished...parts of it still has old shingles, parts of it has new, and parts of it has no shingles at all. It's still raining. Not hard, but a constant, steady drizzle.
I tried to ask if the rain was going to mess things up and cause leaks, but apparently none of these gentlemen speak even enough English to tell me that. They just tried to answer "yes" or "no" without a real clue about what I was asking.
I hope you verfied that their company has insurance just incase the situation gets messy. No shingles + rain = not a good thing....or at least that has been my experience....Also, it is not really too safe for workers to be walking around on a wet roof.

Oh I'm definitely not complaining about them not being up there. It's a very steeply pitched roof and even when it was dry, I was very nervous about all those guys up there.
This roofing company was sent over by our insurance company who is picking up the tab for the new roof...so I'm confident that any rain damage will be covered...but I AM concerned about how much pain that's gonna add to the overall process.
And I kinda wish the guys would go hang out somewhere else. LOL My porch is literally about 5' from where I'm sitting right now with a big plate-glass window. I can see and hear 'em chattering away. I get weirded out by strangers hanging around my house.
