Re: Anyone have a super cinny?
A good number of the super cinnies/super blacks that I have seen have the tweaked noses. I haven't paid enough attention to say that they "all" have it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you looked hard enough and found "something" a little wrong with all of them.

I was told that it is best to use two different lines of cinnies when making a super cinny to aviod this problem and that it comes from inbreeding. I will be making supers next year and have a BHB and Graziani line cinny for this reason.

Would them having something slightly wrong with them hurt there value in any way? Is it bad enough that you would notice?

Unfortunately, I've seen it in outcrossed super cinnies as well. Although, I do believe that outcrossing is the best way to avoid any problems.

I have a super cinnamon pastel and he is fine, However I have seen some with facial deformities but to my knowledge those have only came from black pastels. I do have both Cinnamons and Black Pastels and I did my first Black Pewter to Black Pastel female this year I hope it works out well.. I also bred a Cinnamon Pewter to several Cinnamons Females I am hoping that they all turn ok also.

Re: Anyone have a super cinny?
I was under the impression that the cinny x cinny made the possible pinched noses. Just what I was told by several people in talking, since I have cinnys and want to make a super cinny.
I'm thinking of getting some black pastels to breed to the cinnys, see if that makes a non-pinched nose super form. I haven't heard directly from anyone that has done that, but again, general consensus is that they are compatible. I guess next year I might find out.
