    cant hurt to take it in... but like i mentioned before, i think it is kind of common for some snakes to make a bit more noise than normal when going into a shed. the one thing i got out of your initial post was "popping and wheezing" but these are somewhat subjective terms. unless you are very familiar with your pet and the noises it makes and when it makes them, a somewhat slight bit of labored breathing can sound like a massive RI to a caring owner. better to be too concerned than not concerned enough. its mouth and nose are clear now with no mucous (looks that way from the pics anyhow) so you might want to give it a day or so, to see what happens. still take it in to the vet by all means, but at least this way if the symptoms come back your vet can hear what he/she is dealing with firsthand rather than you telling them what you heard. glad to hear it seems to be doing better.

    by the way, the vet called and said to send it to my house for "prolonged therapy". i can give you the adress to send it to! :D
