I might go to all Deli cups.... BUT... If I went with all ceramic or like plastic and ran them in the D washer... would it be safe to say that I could distribute them to whomever? I think as stated... they should be sterile-ish???

Just to be clear, I don't use deli cups for any other reason than cleanliness and ease of use. I feel better throwing it out once a week and using a new cup. I don't put any animal in my collection that I am not sure (as sure as one can be through fecal tests and strict quarantine) is healthy. :)

I think the deli cups is an alright idea for people with lots of animals, but to me it doesn't make any sense when you have 1-6 animals to be wasteful, it is just as easy in my opinion to put the bowl into the dish washer which you are probably running anyways because of your own personal dishes, and if you get a bowl at a dollar store it is cheaper than continually buying replacement cups. just how i see it and how i do it with my snakes.
