well yes. - they are small though.
the banded was hatched in January, and the coral cat is less than a foot, and she has a tank to herself.
yeah, my avatar is of the banded, it's the first photo i took when he hatched, he was all shiny and the white bands were brilliant.
i calculate that she'll outgrow her tank same time as the banded gets big enough to live with her, in about 3 years. that also coincides with when i get out of tertiary education, so i'll have time over the months to plan that BIG tank.
Re: Not for a weak stomach.....
I just love that pic. It's sooo cool lookin'! How big are your tanks now?? I ocassionally saw cat sharks for sale, but always passed. I only had a 55 gallon tank, and my filtration wouldn't have been adequate anyways. a buddy of mine has a 125 reef. It's awesome lookin'. I keep tellin' him to start fraggin his corals, cause he's got some that are takin over the tank!

And that's the reason the world thinks all us snake keepers are sick people.

yea right, just cuz of a few dumb people. the snake had a hard time just gettin the head down, i dunno why he didnt just get a pinky. then he goes and picks him up and tries unravling it while its constricting...i dunno...but like i said a good example of what NOT to do...

 Yet another example of why some people should not own any type of animal.

Ditto!
Re: Not for a weak stomach.....
I couldn't even watch the whole thing...it made me nauseous. I stopped when he got the scissors out. His excuse in the comments section for feeding HUGE prey is he can't get anything else where he lives. To me, that's BS. If you can't feed your snake the right prey, don't have one! It's really that simple.
Alternatively, he could breed his own mice, euthanize the pinks and freeze them. He could even do a very brief breeding program to get a good supply, if he didn't want to breed mice long-term. It just ticks me off...interrupting your snake while it's trying to eat, feeding it prey that's too large and then (poorly) trying to p/k the mouse, and then deciding after it was constricted to cut it in half with SCISSORS? *shudder*
