How`s the import regulations in Thailand? How long did it take for the shipment to arrive and how was it delivered?

Re: My Caracaracaramel!
It took me two days, from the day I apply, to get all needed import document from CITES Thailand. Before that I have to wait for 2-3 weeks to get CITES in the US.
Every shipment will take 3-4 weeks untill the animals arrive. 2 weeks to apply for CITES in the US. Few days- one week to get import permit from Thai department depends on what's the mood of the person in charge of approving lol. The rest is waiting(uncomfortably) for your animals to show up.
My first time importing, my broker switched my shipment with the shipment for their customer in Malaysia. I got their animals and they got mine. To make a story short, it took extra week and extra $500 to switch animals back. Totally not a good experience lol

That`s what I wanted to know, I don`t really mind waiting as long as the animal/s are healthy. I`m more concerned on the paperworks on my part and from what I`ve heard from people around my area, it`s not really that straight forward in obtaining a permit. Did you pick up the shipment from the airport? and how was it handled there?
Thanks man and good luck with your snakes. Maybe I`ll import from you instead :D

Re: My Caracaracaramel!
It's too bad we can't export any kind of snake out of Thailand, either local or imported. How stupid is that?
