so the only way to create a pastel offspring is to have the mom or pop be a pastel? is the difference that they are brighter? with maybe a different pattern?

no the difference is the type of genes it takes to make that visual morph. The gene is co dominate.. meaning only one parent has to have this type of gene to make the visual morph

all offspring would be 100% het for albino. Normal looking snakes carring 1/2 the genetics needed to make an Albino

so i gues the only way to create a cool looking snake other than normal is to spend the couple thousand and get a morph or pastel?

A pastel is a morph, and you could get a baby male for like 250

oops, thanx for catching that, i just meant to say generaly a morph like a pastel or something. i have a male now, so im looking for a good female to make some nice babies.
