    Oh believe me, Cheese is not a happy camper when I go towards him with that needle, however the way I have him held he can only twist his tail around because the rest of him is contained.

    I've given many shots to several different snakes and none have ever tried to bite me when I gave them the shot.. sometimes they're a bit wiggly.. but I was able to give a 7.5' 20lb boa shots unassisted. I just cradle the upper third of their body in one hand and stick them with the other.

    Vet bill was only 66 bucks including the shots. I gave her a shot today using the pvc method and it seemed to work well.
