thanks for that link...I couldn't get past the BlackHeaded pythons. I believe he was the originator of both the granite IJ and the Albino BHP, is this correct? What are the odds of him birthing both morphs that haven't been seen before? What a lucky man......

Jon, what is your incubator set up like? What temp. are you planning to set? Pics of your setup?

One more question, I promise, why did you choose to incubate over the natural mother hen on her eggs, just curious?

I just love the IJs, wish I hadn't sold my first pair years ago.

After seeing a picture of the granite morph, I know there will be one in my collection one of these days. Those guys are STUNNING!

    Good luck with your eggs!

Well 6 snakes hatched and I didn't get any Granites...

One egg went bad during incubation and one egg had an undeveloped snake in it...

This is the first time I've ever bred 100% hets together...I don't like how it turned out...lol

Ack - sorry you didn't hit the odds dude. I hope you have better luck next year. How many years do you try before deciding they might not be hets? I've often wondered that what with people buying 66% hets all over the place these days.

    Thanks!

They came straight from Nuyten Reptiles, who was the first one to produce them...I am confident they will prove out...Hopefully I can get a few more eggs next year...

That truely is too bad Jon, we need more granites over here!!! That is a bummer, and I feel your pain. Last year we bred two 100% het pieds together and got 5 eggs, and 0 pieds :( Not a fun feeling. But, the year before that we got 3 eggs from them, and 2 ended up being pieds...so hopefully the bad luck this year means good luck next year?!? Fingers will be crossed for you!!!
