Mmmm, I do love miso soup! The only other way I've seen it is Tempura fried, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be good for your diet, ahaha.

Possibly ;) Though I'm sure if tofu had any negative side effects on males, there would be many non-reproductive/unhappy vegan and vegetarian men out there... You're probably safe.

Freezing tofu!
I learned this trick from a vegetarian boyfriend in college.
Freeze it -once- and thaw it out. The resulting block will be spongy instead of smooth, and will uptake marinades much better, as well as be more resiliant if you're frying slabs of it. It will shed a lot of its water when it thaws as well.
Don't freeze it twice though...you just get wierd crumbly stuff.
